ANYWAYS VENOM WAS A REALLY GOOD MOVIE AND CRITICS ARE LYING

First of all, it’s a great fuckin monster movie, and a really good antihero comic-to-screen movie!!!

The humor was dark and awesome, the effects were really good, the characters were great (fr the actors did a good job).

Like honestly, even tho it’s one of those “first of a franchise” type movies that haven’t established any characters before (not including comics ofc), every character was really well fleshed out. No one felt hollow or irrelevant.

And PLEASE stay till the end, there are 2 after credit scenes, one to set up for the next movie, another is a short for something else

Here’s my favourite parts of the movie, that I can remember (I’ll create another post abt em when I rewatch):

-EDDIE AND ANNIE!VENOM MAKING OUT THAT WAS FUCKING HOT OKAY!!!!!

-Annie!Venom in general was really cool, didn’t think we’d get to see her but we did!!!!

-ALSO PART OF IT TOOK PLACE IN MALAYSIA W ACTUAL MALAYSIANS SPEAKING MALAY (sorry national pride took over for a sec lmao)

-Eddie’s highpitched scream in the bathroom when Venom speaks to him 😂

-that Carnage mid-credit scene was really cool (I mean he wasn’t actually there, just his host Cletus)

-Annie’s cat, I headcanon that Venom is a cat person

-Venom being the cutest fucking softie and deciding he didn’t wanna see the human race die after he bonded with both Eddie and Annie

-Venom deciding to fight Riot (who out ranks and out powers him) on behalf of the entire human race just because he fuCKING GOT ATTACHED TO EDDIE AND ANNIE I LOVE THIS PILE OF GOO SO MUCH HES SUCH A GOOD SYMBIE

-Venom: *takes a bite out of someone else’s chicken at a restaurant, spits it out, and points angrily at it* THIS IS DEAD

-Annie and her new bf (Dan??) trying to help Eddie

-RIOT LOOKING LIKE FUCKING MOVIE!MEGATRON

-Venom requesting chocolate when Eddie asks if he wants anything

-Eddie being deathly afraid of heights and then ending up bonding w a dumbass symbiote who likes sitting on top of buildings because the city looks pretty like that

-I nearly cried literally any time Venom got forced from Eddie

-“GOODBYE EDDIE” THOSE ASSHOLES NEARLY TORE MY HEART UP I WAS READY TO FUCKING FIGHT

Anyways that’s it for now, y’all should def watch and rewatch Venom!!!
