Cool Trendy Neurodivergent Things Neurotypicals Can Start Doing Instead Of Using Fidget Toys And Getting Them Banned:

– Staring at your homework for 2 hours straight, not able to focus enough to read the problem

– Crying yourself to sleep because you’re just so lazy and worthless and you’ll never get anywhere in life and why can’t you just focus and do your work

– Getting told to shut up when you accidentally talk too much about your interests

– Not having the energy to get out of bed!!!

– Not having the energy to get out of bed but not being able to sleep either

– Practically getting heart palpitations just from speaking in class

~~~just some thoughts!!!~~~
hope it’s okay to add onto this:
– Getting harshly told/forced to stop your natural body language
– Desperately trying to make and keep meaningful friendships but miserably failing every time
– Bursting out sobbing when someone gives you a valid and gentle criticism
– Having to consciously work to keep yourself from having a literal tantrum/breakdown/meltdown in a public setting
– Being stared at and made fun of for just being yourself
Hi, I’m REALLY mad right now at this stupid website so please bear with me.
blessedwithluck:
 A certain artist (based in the Philippines might I add) recently made a J.CO (Indonesian donut restaurant chain) gijinka recently, and people accused them of whitewashing their gijinka because the character’s skin was too bright.
I, as an Indonesian, am seriously offended.
Not by the gijinka,
but by the masses of people who are being offended ON MY BEHALF FOR THE WRONG REASONS.
 The most insulting thing about this whole situation is that this website fucking auto-assumes that all brightly colored characters have been whitewashed and that this is always a bad thing and racist because of how things are in the West.
Hi.
Indonesia is not the United States.
Indonesia is not a country in Europe.
Indonesia is a multicultural society in Asia made up mostly of Southeast Asians, Melanesians, and East Asians.
You can NOT apply the same exact sensitivities and narrative to Indonesia as you can in the West.
 …Let me give you a quick rundown:
 Racism in Indonesia is not always about about a white skinned race oppressing a darker skinned race. If anything, it’s more to do with Xenophobia and Religion.
 Following up on that, here’s the shocker:
 The DISCRIMINATED MINORITY in Indonesia has a lighter skin color than the PRIVILEGED MAJORITY.
 East Asians, mostly Chinese, who generally have brighter skin tones than your regular Southeast Asian person, are regular targets of hate speech, discrimination, racism, and even a 1998 genocide that still strikes fear and opens up old wounds in their hearts upon mention.
 PLEASE GET THAT INTO YOUR DENSE SKULL.
 Indonesia has serious racial problems, but you can NOT automatically assume everything as from a western country perspective.
 To do so is seriously, seriously racist.
 The intention was “right” from your perspective, but please. Do your research, and don’t automatically always assume that light skin is whitewashing. You’re touching on a VERY sensitive and often radically different subject depending on which nation you are talking about.
 It’s INSULTING to your fellow PoCs.
 I feel insulted. I feel like this website just made a unanimous decision for me because I’m either too “uneducated” “uninformed”, “tolerant” or WHATEVER the fuck you think of Indonesians to feel offended for myself. This website made me think that the Indonesian restaurant chain CAN ONLY be run by Southeast Asians when there are hundreds, if not thousands of East Asian J.CO employees whose lives and stories, and struggle against discrimination you’ve just invalidated just because of your westernized view of racism.
 AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF,
 THE ARTIST YOU’RE MAD AT IS A PoC FROM THE SAME REGION AS INDONESIA THEMSELVES, (the Philippines) AN ARTIST WHO HAD NO INTENTION OF WHITEWASHING. WHO JUST SAW REALLY NICE COLORS THAT WORKED AND THOUGHT IT WAS COOL. WHO KNOWS FULL WELL THE STRUGGLE SOUTHEAST ASIA HAS HAD AGAINST EUROPE IN THE COLONIAL PERIOD.
 IT’S AS IF YOU’RE TRYING TO LECTURE A VICTIM ON WHY THEY SHOULD FEEL VICTIMIZED INSTEAD OF UNDERSTANDING OUR STORY.
                 WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, TUMBLR.
Apparently Nickelodeon wants to build an attraction in Palawan, Philippines .
This might seem fun for some people, but for us it’s not.
You see, Palawan is known for its non-commercialized islands and untouched beaches. There are only a few resorts in there, and the government limits tourism population there. Here are some pictures of our beautiful islands:
Nickelodeon, however, wants to capitalize the island of Coron, Palawan. They’re going to build a resort and theme park there. They claim that they want to “spread environmental awareness” but they’re really not. Building this resort will disrupt the marine ecosystem; thus destroying the environment there. Also, Palawan is our last ecological frontier in the Philippines. If they’re going to continue to do this, more and more big companies will cash-in to commercialize Palawan- and I really do not want that to happen.
I know petitions won’t do much, but at least we can prove a point that Palawan should not be disrupted. Please sign this petition, so that it will not only show that us Filipinxs don’t want this, but people from different countries as well. Please spread it around as well, so that people from different countries can be aware of what Nickelodeon is doing.
Ang aming kalikasan ay hindi dapat sirain. Maraming salamat po.
Gotta spread this myself. I’m Filipina and the conservation of home is incredibly important to me. Pollution is already a huge issue throughout the country’s cities. Many islands including Palawan are home to not just beautiful nature but some of the last of our untouched, uncolonized heritage.
wtf
NO. PLEASE NO. I LEGIT CRIED WHEN I READ THE NEWS ARTICLE. The article is in a legit news network. It’s not fake. MY CHEST HURTS AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY. The developers say it won’t hurt the environment but artificial structures are artificial structures. PLEASE. PLEASE. NO.
I CAN ONLY HOPE THE PETITION IS GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I SIGNED IT SO FAST.
EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT FILIPINO, PLEASE SIGNAL BOOST. PLEASE.
This Man Did Something That’s Already Expected Of Women But He Gets Extra Praise Cause He’s A Man
No. A lot of women don’t go to cosmetology classes to learn how to do hair, they have the experience from growing up-their mom doing their hair, Then experimenting which what they can do themselves. This guy probably had short hair his entire life with no clue on what to do. He didn’t just look up how to do a ponytail, he paid for actual classes so that he could do his little daughters hair in cool and creative ways so that SHE gets the learning experience and learns how to do it her own and then can go to school with fabulous.
This is A+ daddy right here, he went above and beyond because he knows that he lack in certain areas where a mom would pick this up. Please don’t destroy nice things that men do simply because they are men and you want to hate them.
